OVERCOMING SIN

Romans 6:8 KJVS
Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

We've been delivered from sin, glory to God!
But it doesn't stop there, since we died and rose with him, we will also live with and in him.
Remember we are in Christ and wherever he is, we are!

We shall get the perfect understanding of this by looking at it contextually by studying the next two verses.
Romans 6:9 KJVS
Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

Paul tells us Christ can never die again after been raised, because death has no power over him again!
Hebrews 2:14 KJVS
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

And everything that happens to him, definitely happens to you too because you and him posses the same spirit and you are one with him.
1 Corinthians 6:17 KJVS
But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

Hebrews 2:11 KJVS
For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

So, definitely this death, which is eternal death(separation from God) can never be your portion again, because as that vs 9 says, death has no dominion over you again just like our pattern(Christ)

Romans 6:10 KJVS
For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

When he died and was offered for our sin, it was done ONCE AND FOR ALL, There's no more sacrifice for sin, because it has been paid fully for, forgiveness has been made available to all that believes in him through faith.

So, he died once and in so doing, He destroys the power of sin ONCE AND FOR ALL.
And after that, Paul said, he lives unto God.
A version of the scripture says he live unto the Glory of God.
Which means after he destroyed the power of sin through his death and resurrection, God power was made manifest(declared openly)  in him and through him!
God's glory shew forth through him!

Also, this applies to you too!
The new life you have now that is free of condemnation is UNTO GOD.
God's glory lives in you and it will radiate out if you allow it!
You manifest the savour of his glory everywhere, every time!
You live unto Him! Unto his Glory!
KNOW this truth and Walk in it and by it!
Because the world is waiting out there for you to show forth the glory of the Father in the face of Jesus Christ that lives in you..
